Unless you’re Joe Rogan and have an exclusive deal, you should consider submitting your podcast to more than just Amazon Music. This is why we prefer Anchor to Amazon’s own offering.

1. To begin, open the Anchor website and log in. If you don’t already have an account, go to the top right corner and click Get Started to create one.

3. Scroll down and click the Let’s do it button under Make your first episode after you’ve verified your email ID.

4. If you already have a podcast recorded and ready, you can record, edit, add music transition effects, or upload it here.

5. Now, click Save episode to begin publishing to all platforms that are supported.

6. In the top right corner, give your podcast a name, description, scheduled publish date, episode art, and other details, then click Publish Now.

7. That’s all there is to it. Anchor has published your podcast. However, we still need to make it available on Amazon Music.

8. Return to the dashboard by clicking the Anchor logo in the top-left corner and finish the rest of the setup. If you want to, you can use this to give your podcast a name and distribute it to services like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and others.

9. In the top-right corner, click Settings to submit your podcast to Amazon Music.

10. From the pop-up menu, choose Distribution.

11. You should be able to find your RSS Feed URL here. Make a copy of it.

12. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and enable Display personal email address publicly in RSS Feed before leaving. If RSS Feed has a verified email address, you can only upload your podcast to Amazon Music. To save your changes, go to the top right corner and click Save.

13. Go to the Amazon Podcasters Page and select Get Started from the drop-down menu.

14. Log in to Amazon using the same email address as in Anchor, which is also in the RSS feed you just copied.

15. Paste the RSS feed you copied and choose the country you want to target. This will help your podcast reach the people in that country, but it’s not required. Once you’ve finished, click Submit.

16. If you’ve chosen to show your personal email address, Amazon Music will ask you to confirm your podcast and email address. Accept the terms and click the Confirm Email button to complete the process.

17. Click the Confirm Ownership button in the verification email.

18. That’s it; you’ll be taken to the You’re all set page. Within 24 hours, your podcast should be available on Amazon Music and Audible.
